About Primal Mountain K9 LLC

What they offer

Primal Mountain K9 offers one core program: a board and train priced at $2,750 covering 15 days of intensive training, during which the dog boards with the trainer's family. The site notes a 24-hour courtesy hold on bookings; ask how far ahead the program is booked.

What the dog learns

The published curriculum is five commands – sit (stay), down (stay), heel, place, and come using tone – plus crate and car manners, threshold manners, and stopping the behaviors the site lists as jumping, barking, lunging and counter surfing.

Approach

The business describes offering "mindset training while using the e-collar" and a daily training regimen that "teaches a permission based lifestyle." Its stated reasoning is that dogs crave leadership. The site is direct that the work does not end at pick-up: the owner has to reinforce it, because for the respect to transfer it has to be practiced at home.

Who runs it

The owner introduces herself as Hannah, trainer and owner, and writes that the business grew out of retraining her own two dogs, Skye and Luna, before her daughter was born. She states the business has been running 4+ years and that she attended a Shadow Program from Almost Heaven K9 in January 2022.
