About K9 Tailshakers

A canine activity center in Frankfort

K9 Tailshakers works from 9204 Gulfstream Road in Frankfort, Illinois, and presents itself as a "Canine Activity Center" rather than a training-only business. Its published menu spans boarding, training, day training, training classes, private lessons, structured daycare, enrichment daycare, grooming, a shop and a canine cafe, with a client login for existing customers. Opening hours are printed on the site, along with early-closing and closed days around public holidays.

Training and day programs

Training is split into several bookable routes on the site's own navigation: training classes, private lessons, and day training, with a separate alumni section for dogs that have been through a program. The day programs are listed as structured daycare, enrichment daycare and day training, so a dog can be worked during the day rather than in evening classes. For class prices and dates, it invites contact by phone, fax, email or through a form.

Experience, membership and awards

Under "EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE" the site states: "K9 Tailshakers has been in business since 2006 and is involved with various organizations such as the International Boarding and Pet Services Association and the Professional Animal Care Certification Council." It adds that the business "believes in staying up to date with Industry Standards and Education" and describes the staff as "Our Experienced, Educated and Certified Team." On awards the site says: "K9 Tailshakers, is a Multi Award Winning Facility. While we have won many awards yearly for our Services, one of our most distinguished Awards is an IBBY Award from the International Boarding & Pet Services Association! An International Award held to High Standards for Education and Commitment to the Industry."
