About Soul Dog Training

Customized private lessons in Highland

Soul Dog Training publishes the address "10733 Hickory Flat Rd., Highland, IL 62249" and describes what it sells in its own headline: "Completely Customized Private Lessons." The site's summary line is "customized lessons that go beyond obedience and take your dog to the next level."

Method

The stated approach is "science based, positive, force free methods to help you solve any problems your pup might have," and the site opens with the question "Ever wish your dog could tell you what they need?" It works within a named philosophy it describes as "an entirely new philosophy based on social learning, in which we build strong relationships with our dogs through bond-building exercises," and argues that "secure bonds enable dogs to learn quickly and willingly, resulting in more reliable and confident dogs, and happier owners." The site states that it is accredited in that method.

How it works

The site's own navigation shows how a client engages with it: pages for lessons, testimonials, a questionnaire and contact, alongside a blog and a shopping links page. The trainer is introduced in the first person – "My name is Claire Clark and I have loved animals since the day…" – under a heading pointing to more information about the head trainer. Contact is by the phone number and email address printed in the site footer.
