About Dog Behavior Solutions

Owner-focused, in-home training

Dog Behavior Solutions is based in Middletown, Ohio and provides in-home consultations and private training sessions tailored to the needs of each owner and dog. The approach is explicitly geared toward owners: the goal is to give them a deeper understanding of their dog's behavior and, using dog psychology, teach them how to communicate effectively and curb unwanted problems.

The site states it offers effective training for dogs of all breeds, ages, and issues, and invites prospective clients to book a consultation by phone or email. It is a concise site that does not advertise specific trainer certifications, years in business, or pricing, so those details are left unstated rather than assumed.

Best dog trainer we have ever met. Rachel is professional, educated and very relatable to deal with. Prices are very fair and it's a great investment for your life owning a dog. Give Rachel a go for your dog training needs. You won't regret it!

Rachel and Brenda with Dog Behavior Solutions were FANTASTIC. We have a 9 month-old black lab pup, and he is a true lab with tons of energy. Everyone he meets is his new best friend and he wants to jump all over them. He’s a good little pup and super loving, but can be stubborn and not want to listen the first time (or second or third sometimes…) when we give a command, because he just wants to play or he just can’t contain his energy. We noticed some separation anxiety as well, but in short, we wanted to get him some good training for a multitude of reasons.
Rachel and Brenda came over and within a minute, he knew that they were in charge and he was deferring to them. My wife and I were immediately impressed with the command they had over him and thought we were watching a different dog. They went through various aspects of training with him and were very helpful in explaining it all to us and guiding us along as well. After just one session there’s already a significant change in our pup. We went ahead and scheduled the next session before they left. My wife and I both highly recommended their training!
