About Colt’s Canine Club, LLC
What it offers
Colt's Canine Club opens its home page with "Here at Colt's, we offer dog training, boarding, and so much more to help you with your beloved canine family members. We also help rescue dogs find their forever homes." The site places the business in Muskego and says it "strives to offer you the best dog training services and support around." Its own service list reads "Obedience Training, Tricks Training, Therapy Dog Training, Spa Services," and the training menu carries pages for Courses, a Course Schedule, Canine Good Citizen Testing, About The Trainer and registration.
Training
The training section is described as covering the whole of a dog's life: "We have dog training for all stages of your dog's life." The method is stated in the same paragraph: "By reinforcing the behaviors you want to see, your dog will learn that with positive behavior comes positive interactions and will strive to get those extra pats and occasional special treats." The site names the trainer only by first name, writing that "Kerry is ready to help you reach your dog training goals!"
Boarding
Boarding is run alongside the training and is deliberately kept small: "In order to do this, we cap the number of dogs we board at any time to provide specialized attention." The boarding page publishes its own rates – a standard kennel for friendly dogs at $45/Day, reactive dogs at $65/Day, and 24 hr Care at 80/Day, with higher holiday and peak-time figures listed beside each. Drop-off and pick-up run in two windows each day, and the page explains the reason: it guarantees play, walk and potty time and leaves the staff room to take a dog to the vet or out on long walks.
Rescue
The third strand is Colt's Rehab Rescue. The site says "We take in dogs that typically do not have any other chance. Many of them do not have appropriate training, are poorly bred, mistreated, misunderstood or had difficult starts to life," and that "each one is evaluated, and we believe with proper training, socialization and medical care, we can successfully rehab and find them appropriate forever homes." Adoption, surrender, volunteer, foster and donation pages all sit under the same menu.
Practical notes
Boarding guests must be current on vaccinations including flea and worming treatments, with proof emailed or uploaded through the client portal, and the site notes this is "a contingency for us to remain licensed." Retractable leashes are not used on site, and the page recommends a kennel-familiarization visit before a first stay. Ask about training prices when you book.
