Cathy is a wonderful trainer and helped me understand just how important the puppy stage is! Coming to our home was so convenient and helpful with the training process! Cathy brought suggestions for treats and toys that I never even thought about and helped me tremendously with potty training. I highly recommend Cathy’s services🐶🐾🦴

Cathy was so great to work with! Our 4 year old Shih Tzu was a rescue puppy and had a lot of issues since we had adopted him, and we finally decided to try the dog training route. She was extremely knowledgable and listened to all our concerns. She took the time to customize the sessions to fit our dog's needs, and on top of that she was really fun to work with! During our sessions we had a family member hospitalized, and she was very easy and understanding to reschedule with during that time. We are very pleased with the results and may eventually add extra refresher sessions down the road because of how helpful she has been for our fur baby. Highly recommend Cathy to help train not only puppies, but dogs of all ages! If we ever get another puppy, Cathy will be who we call!

"Five stars! I had a great experience with Cathy's K9 Kids Dog Training. Cathy was incredibly helpful from start to finish." My two-year-old Schnauzer exhibited high anxiety and worrisome growling when young children were in our home. At our initial consultation Cathyassessed Ivy’s behavior and set goals, followed by a customized training plan. Cathy coached me on how to manage my dog's behavior in different situations, treating me as a partner in the training process, she had patience and her demonstrations were clear. Following each lesson, I received verbal and written progress reports, including accomplishments and areas that need more work.
What did we learn working with Cathy?
Prior to coaching from Cathy, Ivy wore a harness when taking a walk and would pull me along. Cathy taught Ivy and I how to walk at the same pace, building a great walking relationship. I am regularly using learned commands with success.

When I first got Penny, she was a little bit wild because she was only nine months old but when I hired Kathy to do the training with her things really turned around Kathy was wonderful. She came to my house once a week from the end of March until June and worked with Penny. Penny responded to her really well and to this day because of the good training that Kathy gave her she is a wonderful, wonderful dog so I would recommend Kathy to anyone who has a dog that needs some work.

Around the end of August I got a dog that I was informed was housebroken, walked well on a leash,and loved cats. None of this was true. I tried training my dog myself and was about to give up on him and rehome him. Then a friend suggested I try Cathy's K9 Kids. Cathy worked with us and gave both myself and my dog the confidence we needed to train together. Cathy taught me how to take control of the situation and work with my dog using positive reinforcement. I now have a housebroken dog that I can walk on a leash. We're still working on the cat thing, but I couldn't be happier. This dog is now bringing joy into my life, where in the beginning all I felt was stress. Thank you Cathy for this positive experience!
