About Paws & Play Pet Resort and Training Center

Paws and Play is a full pet resort at 72 Marbledale Road in Tuckahoe, operating since 2011 by its own account, and dog training is one of four services it sells rather than the whole business.

Where training sits

The four published services are boarding, daycare, training and bathing. Because the facility is already set up for overnight and full-day stays, the training here is the kind that fits around a dog that is on site anyway – which is a different proposition from an in-home trainer who comes to your living room.

The rest of the operation

Boarding is sold as overnight accommodation with customized activities, daycare as supervised group play, and bathing as a spa service. The site advertises a first-time offer of ten percent off boarding or a free daycare evaluation, and it runs separate reservation paths for new and returning customers.

Reviews

This is by some distance the most-reviewed dog business in Tuckahoe, which reflects the volume a boarding and daycare operation puts through compared with a single-trainer practice. Read those reviews with that in mind: most of them are about the resort, not about the training program.
