About Von Frohnhoefer German Shepherds

Von Frohnhoefer is first a breeder – of DDR and East German line German Shepherds, in Ballston Lake – and second a trainer.

The training side

The site carries "Dog Training – In person and virtual" as a navigation-level service, sits it beside a "Why Train" page, and describes the owner as a "Trainer of ALL Breed Dogs." That is a training service published to the public and open beyond the breeding program. The site also names its own puppy curriculum, "Good Living Skills Training," which it says every puppy it places starts before going home.

The breeding program, stated plainly

The bulk of the site is the kennel: planned breedings, litters on the ground, guardianship females, prospective breeding females and studs, and puppy information. The stated breeding goal is "dogs that can be loving family members, companions, or working dogs," with a commitment to preserving DDR lines through selective breeding.

Diet and wellness

The owner, named on the site as Melissa Frohnhoefer, publishes a K-9 TCVM and diet consultation service and describes herself as a Certified K-9 Food Therapist in TCVM Food Therapy. That is the business's own claim, so ask which body certified it.

What to expect

An owner looking for group classes or help with a behavior case should ask directly. What is published is one-to-one and virtual training from a breeder's perspective, with a strong German Shepherd and working-line orientation.
