About K9 Obedience Training

What K9 Obedience Training offers

K9 Obedience Training works from 331 Bull Rd in Utica. The site is written in the first person by the owner, Larry LeoGrande, who describes himself as a graduate of Owen Tober's Amsel Training Kennels and says he serves "dogs of all breeds and temperaments, from playful puppies to mature adults, and from novice learners to advanced achievers". Every enquiry starts with a free consultation, which the site calls "no pressure, just a real conversation about your dog".

The course list

The published course list is unusually wide: Puppy Training, Basic Obedience Training, Behavioral Problem Solving, 1-on-1 Training, Competition Training, Tracking, Protection, Schutzhund Training, Virtual Training, Board Training, Travel Session, Muzzle Training and Electric Training. The Travel Session option means the trainer comes to the owner rather than the other way around, and Virtual Training covers owners who cannot attend in person at all. Boarding is offered alongside the board-training option.

Credentials as published

The site lists a set of credentials under the owner's name: over 23 years in business, AKC Examiner for the Canine Good Citizen title, graduate of Amsel Training Kennel in 2003, Certified Police K-9 Trainer, Certified Professional Dog Trainer, former member of the Schutzhund Club of Buffalo and member of the Schutzhund 111 Club.

What else is on the site

Obedience demonstration videos, a photo gallery and client testimonials make up the rest of the site, along with a page introducing the trainer.
