Highly recommend Hype training. My dog and I just finished the 6 wk HYPE beginner training through North Ridgeville recreation department. Mose is a 5 yr old Am Staff who knows basic commands when he’s at home, but forgets everything he knows when he’s out in public with distractions of other dogs and people. Walking used to be a battle of wills with lots of pulling and tugging. Lindsey taught multiple techniques to train Mose to pay attention to me and walk past the distractions without pulling. We were shown the techniques then given homework to practice during the week. I’ve seen much progress. I now look for distractions to use as training opportunities instead of avoiding distractions. Walking is now relaxing for myself and my dog. I have confidence we’ll only keep improving as we keep practicing the techniques.
Classes are a good size for Lindsey to be able to work with each dog. She’s great at adapting quickly to the different dog personalities. All training is with positive reinforcement instead of punishment. Highly recommended.
