About Southern Pro Kennel
Who they are
Southern Pro Kennel is a boarding and training facility at 721 Highway 193 in Flintstone, Georgia, at the base of Lookout Mountain. The site says it opened in 2017 and that hundreds of dogs have stayed since. Its motto line reads “Dedication – Discipline – Excellence.”
The trainer
Haley Shealy is named on the about page as owner and head trainer. The page says she discovered dog training while a student at UTC after her parents gave her a chocolate Lab puppy, changed course from a planned nursing career, and spent years developing her skills under Roddy Reynolds before going out on her own.
What you can book
Training is published with rates: $1,800 per month, with all first-time trainees required to commit to one month, after which training can be booked by the day, week or month. The board-and-train program takes medium to large breeds aged two years and under; lessons are offered for small breeds instead. Dogs are not required to be spayed or neutered. Boarding is offered separately, and the site publishes facilities, FAQ and blog pages.
