About The Doggy Dorm
Who they are
The Doggy Dorm was established in 2013 by Tyler Peabody, named on the site as founder and head trainer. She and her family live and work on a 10.5-acre horse farm in Waleska, where the Doggy Dorm runs alongside Mirror Image Farm, a Holsteiner horse breeding and training operation she has owned since 2002. The site's own page title is “Obedience Training and Boarding in North GA,” and both sides of that are published.
Training background
The about page dates her professional dog-training start to 2006, when she joined the Atlanta Working Dog Club, a club competing in IGP/Schutzhund — tracking, obedience and protection — and in French Ring Sport. The site says she has titled seven dogs in IGP, competed at national level with three Belgian Malinois, holds multiple French Ring titles, and has served as the club's treasurer and membership director since 2010. It names Robert Leigh of Arete Canine and De Atlawor Kennels as her mentor.
What you can book
Training and boarding are the two published sides, with the site describing days shaped around structured training, social play and rest depending on the dog. Breeds the site says she has owned and trained run from Dachshund mixes to Anatolian Shepherds, German Pinschers and Belgian Malinois.
