About Kiefer Kennel Club
What they do
Kiefer Kennel Club publishes three offers on its own site, each priced. Farm Camp is pack hikes and adventures on the trainer's private farm, with central pickup and dropoff in the city, available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, sold per camp day with three, six and twelve-month packages for one, two or three camp days a week. Private Lessons are one-to-one training in the owner's home, sold in a package of four. Board-and-train and rehabilitation plans are run on the farm for dogs exhibiting severe behavior, priced individually – and the site requires a private lesson package to be completed first before that option opens.
The approach
The trainer's stated mission is to help struggling dog owners understand and connect with their dogs, and his stated specialism is dogs with big feelings, using what he calls instinctual communication. The philosophy section argues that human systems disrupt the way dogs naturally move with the energy of life.
Who runs it
The site introduces the trainer in the first person as Dylan. His about page is a personal account: growing up surrounded by dogs, walking and looking after neighborhood dogs as a child, and volunteering at animal shelters before turning it into a career.
How to start
Every route begins with a free phone consultation, which is also how the full price chart is released.
