About Grandeur Canine, LLC

What they offer

Grandeur Canine is an Oklahoma City trainer who teaches owners through instruction and demonstration, building a structured training plan for each dog and guiding the owner to continue training at home. It primarily serves the Oklahoma City metro and surrounding areas, and says it will travel and provide transportation across the state and neighboring states. It also runs a service dog training program for task-trained service dogs, which requires a recommendation from a practitioner for a diagnosed condition.

How they train

The trainer uses a modified Progressive Reinforcement philosophy and a Least Invasive Minimally Aversive (L.I.M.A) approach, and names tools such as operant and classical conditioning, systematic desensitization and shaping. Clients get lifetime support.

Who trains

The trainer, Arden Sato, describes growing up handling dogs in AKC, UKC and 4-H events and is a GoodPup Certified Trainer with continued education focused on puppy rearing and development.
