About The Ruff Life Boarding, Grooming & Training

What they offer

The Ruff Life Boarding, Grooming & Training at 3510 N 429 in Pryor offers boarding, grooming and dog training. Training is performed onsite, with the dog staying for either two weeks or one month. The training page says obedience, off-leash obedience and manners are its main focus, and its general obedience covers sit, down, stay, come, leave-it and off.

How they train

The site calls its training philosophy positive, using rewards for desired behaviors, and says it also uses negative punishment, such as stopping the walk until a dog stops pulling. Personalized training covers problems such as jumping on guests, mouthing and nipping, leash pulling, bolting out the door and nuisance barking, plus place and come-when-called work. Dogs in training go on socialization outings to stores and a dog park.

Good to know

After training, follow-up drop off and pick up is offered a few days a week. Boarding requires current rabies and Bordetella vaccinations with a certificate from your vet, and the site says text is the easiest way to reach it.
