About The Pet Ranch

What they offer

The Pet Ranch is a pet resort at 12700 W 151st St in Olathe offering boarding, daycare and grooming along with its own dog training. Training comes as a drop-off service or as one-on-one private lessons with the owner in the resort's training room, and it starts with a free consultation or complimentary evaluation with a trainer.

How they train

The training page describes science-based, positive-reinforcement programs and says the trainers are Fear Free certified through the Fear Free Shelters program and do not use punishment. The training program is aimed at reducing problem behaviors, learning new skills and strengthening the bond with the dog.

Good to know

The training page says the trainers do not currently take on anxiety, biting, aggression, reactivity or resource guarding cases, so ask first if your dog shows any of these. New clients set up a pet profile before booking.
