About Alpha K-9 Obedience

What they offer

Alpha K-9 Obedience is located in the mountains of Evergreen and usually serves the Denver metropolitan area, traveling to clients and offering phone consultations when distance is an issue. It provides in-home dog and puppy obedience training covering obedience, leash training, tricks and behavior lessons.

Aggression and fear

The site says it specializes in rehabilitating aggression and other difficult behavior issues through private, one-on-one sessions, and in helping fearful puppies and anxious rescue dogs become confident without turning to aggression.

How they train

The business describes teaching owners to understand how their dog thinks and to communicate clearly using dog psychology. Owner Michael Mandell says clients work directly with him rather than hired staff, and that he has worked with several breed rescue organizations.
