Overview
About Chill Out Dog Training
What they offer
Chill Out Dog Training brings private, hands-on dog training to North Denver, including RiNo, LoHi, the Highlands, Berkeley and Sunnyside. Training is mobile and by appointment, at the owner's home or another suitable local spot. Its FAQ says reactivity, aggression, bite histories and everyday problem behaviors are in its wheelhouse, and it works on leash, food, human and dog aggression.
How sessions work
A first session is 90 minutes: the trainer works hands-on with the dog on the problem behavior and coaches the owner to keep it going. Clients start with one session, with no package required, and follow-ups depend on progress. Owners who have a bite history or safety concern are asked to mention it when booking.
How they train
The site describes balanced training, sometimes called 'Yes/No' training, using both rewards and negative consequences to give the dog immediate feedback. Demo e-collar equipment is used in a session when it fits.
