About Calvert Dog Training

What they offer

Calvert Dog Training is a small training team whose Colorado trainer, Elizabeth Ashley, covers Denver and nearby areas. The team's services include group classes, in-home lessons and training during boarding, where the dog stays in a real home and receives individualized training. New clients begin with a first lesson that evaluates the dog and builds a plan.

About the trainer

Her profile lists her as CTC, SDC and FFCP and describes work with puppies, service dogs, basic manners and obedience, fearful dogs and dogs displaying aggression, with a focus on private in-home training and group classes.

How they train

The approach page says the team focuses on why a behavior is happening, does not rely on fear or force, and works in the home, on walks and in daily routines while coaching the owner.
