About Assent Canine Training

What they offer

Assent Canine Training serves central Colorado with in-home training for family dogs and puppies, therapy dog and service team programs, AKC certified training and court-ordered evaluations and training. The site lists two contacts, a senior trainer and a lead behaviorist, and says its internationally certified trainers bring more than 50 years of combined experience.

Programs

In-home training is custom-tailored to the owner's goals rather than a pre-built class. The therapy dog certification program prepares dogs to comfort people in hospitals, schools and nursing homes. The service team training program works on the dog and handler as a team, with tasks tailored to the handler's medical needs. For owners facing a court order, the trainers provide behavioral evaluations and training plans that meet court requirements. The site also offers custom training for dogs with disabilities.

Approach

The site describes proven, positive methods tailored to each dog's needs.
