About PetSmart Dog Training
Jefferson City training
PetSmart's Jefferson City store, at 731 Stoneridge Pkwy off Country Club Dr, runs group dog classes that test cues around real distractions. Owners who want individual sessions can book private time matched to their dog's pace.
Structure and contact
Each class follows a structured plan so a dog's gains build from week to week, whatever its level at the start; an advanced course is there for further work, and packages bundle several courses. Trainers use positive reinforcement. Phone 573-761-5231; the page lists Sunday hours of 10am-7pm and 9am-9pm Monday through Saturday, with Columbia and Rolla as the other nearby training stores.
What they can help with
Early socialization, house-training and first manners for young dogs.
Group Classes
Train alongside other dogs to build focus around distractions.
Private Lessons
One-on-one sessions tailored to your dog's specific goals.
