About Dynamic Canines

Programs

Dynamic Canines works with dogs and their owners across a list of towns, naming Pleasant Hill, Grain Valley, Lone Jack, Lee's Summit, Greenwood, Harrisonville, Oak Grove and Blue Springs as service areas. Private lessons are held in the owner's home and later in public settings to work around distractions. In Home Day School has the dog learn in the trainer's home, with pick-up and drop-off included, while the owner is at work, plus private lessons for the owner. A puppy starter program covers socialization, body awareness, engagement and challenges such as potty training.

Dog sports

Sports courses include Frisbee Basics for a first start in disc dog, and Tricks and Stunts. The company also offers walks, hikes, drop-in play and nail trims.

The trainer

Owner Lauren Harlacher trained at Triple Crown Academy/Starmark Academy and says she earned certification there as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, with over 15 years in the field since. Training is positive reinforcement and reward based, and the site calls the team LIMA trainers (least invasive, minimally aversive). A consultation is free; call (816) 434-0468.
