About The Copper Cottage Canines

Breeding and training

The Copper Cottage Canines, owned by Brandon and Nicole Carter, is a Giant Schnauzer program built on health, temperament and working ability. Alongside its litters it offers training packages to help owners and new puppies build good behavior, and many of its breeding dogs compete in IGP, obedience and protection.

How Brandon trains

The training page presents Brandon as the program's trainer. He offers personalized training guidance for well-behaved companions and works on specific behavior problems such as reactivity. Positive reinforcement comes first: desired behavior is rewarded, and the next step is gentle correction that applies the least pressure needed to redirect a dog.

Contact

The program is at 5611 S Shades Crest Rd. Phone 205-495-6353 or email thecoppercottagecanines@gmail.com.
