About Southern Oregon Pet Services

Daycare, boarding and training in Central Point

Southern Oregon Pet Services is an enrichment-based dog daycare, boarding and training business in Central Point. Owner, trainer and animal behaviorist Kailani Miranda describes over 14 years of experience, including work as a PetSmart dog trainer, an obedience trainer for Dogs for the Deaf and Animal Behavior Supervisor at SoHumane. In 2019 she founded Koa Bully Rescue and Sanctuary, a nonprofit that rehabilitates and rehomes bully breeds.

Training

Its training philosophy holds that building a relationship with the dog is a core element of training, and that basic obedience and behavioral rehab both begin with trust. Options include training sessions and behavior modification either at the facility or at home, plus puppy training packages.

Daycare and boarding

Daycare pairs each dog with 15 friends or fewer of similar size or play style, rotating through free play, naps, obedience training, brain games and one-on-one time. Half and full days, overnight boarding, membership discounts, and bath and nail trims are available.

What to ask

Ask about training package prices and how at-home sessions are scheduled.
