What they offer

Notre Dog Academy in Tacoma solves behavior problems with internationally certified trainers. Puppies can join off-leash hybrid puppy classes that start every Saturday and Preschool, a structured hour of play with up to six puppies of the same age watched by a certified trainer. Group classes give formal instruction in a group setting, private lessons offer an hour with a certified trainer, and Day School works with dogs while their owners are at work, live streamed on a webcam. A Certified Canine Behavior Consultant provides behavior consulting and modification for fear, aggression, reactivity and other problems, and the team includes a CPDT-KA trainer who works on leash reactivity, resource guarding and Canine Good Citizen prep.

About the trainers

Owner Stephanie Beausoleil, CBCC-KA, has taught dog training since 2011 and spent three years with the Prison Pet Partnership training mobility service dogs, therapy dogs and pet dogs.
