About Communications Dog Training

What they offer

Communications Dog Training serves most communities south of Seattle and north of Olympia. Private lessons take place at the owner's home or a park nearby and run about an hour, on weekdays and weekends. Limited group lessons meet at Bradley Lake Park in Puyallup after at least one private session, and can include group obedience work, pack walks and some dog play depending on the dogs. The trainers specialize in reactivity and behavior and teach owners to read what their dog is saying.

How they train

The business believes most pet dog behavior problems come from poor communication, and focuses on how owners use voice and body language and on recognizing anxiety, frustration and overstimulation. It recommends a veterinary check for dogs with a bite history.

Fawn has eight years of dog training experience and runs the business with her husband Shepherd.
