About Puget Sound K9 Academy

What they offer

Puget Sound K9 Academy is a training school on Littlerock Road in Tumwater whose trainer has more than 30 years of experience. Training uses classical conditioning and motivational positive reinforcement, with the owner treated as the most important part of the process.

Classes and programs

All classes start one on one, and dogs of every size and breed are accepted. A combined class begins with essential obedience and then adds scent work and agility for mental and physical enrichment, in 45-minute sessions suited to all ages and experience levels. For dogs with aggressive behavior, an evaluation looks at the underlying causes before a tailored training program is built.
