Dog park, daycare and training in Post Falls

Paws & Brews is a dog daycare, boarding cottage, off-leash dog park and taproom at 4565 Seltice Way in Post Falls, owned by Idaho locals Adam and Amanda Smelser. Alongside supervised daycare with separate small and large dog areas, boarding cottages from $74 per night, and craft beer and BBQ from an on-site food truck, it offers one-on-one dog training.

Training with Trichelle

Training is led by Trichelle, a Coeur d'Alene native who turned her dog training hobby into a profession about six years ago. She coaches clients on basic obedience, reactivity issues and advanced techniques including ecollar conditioning, with an emphasis on a balanced canine relationship that combines structure and nurturing. Prices

Puppy Intro Obedience (2-4 months) is $135 per 45-minute session or $100 each in a bundle of four. Basic Obedience (4+ months) is $165 per hour or $150 in a bundle. Ecollar Advanced Obedience & Off Leash is $185 per hour or $175 in a bundle, and basic obedience must be fluent before a training collar is introduced. Board and train varies with the dog's needs and starts with a consultation.
