Method K9 is a Post Falls dog training business with an education arm, Method K9 Institute, a dog training school focused on canine behavior rehabilitation and dog trainer education. For dog owners, Method K9 offers in-person board and train programs, private sessions and group classes, along with guided online courses and subscription instructional videos.

The team

Stephanie Vichinsky is the owner of Method K9 and Method K9 Institute, with more than 15 years of experience as a professional dog trainer and canine behavior specialist, and is credited with rehabilitating thousands of dogs with behavioral challenges. Julius is also named as owner and general manager. Head trainer Hope specializes in behavior modification, advanced training and complex behavioral cases, and is credited with more than a decade of work with aggressive, reactive and difficult dogs.

For trainers

The Institute runs an intensive dog trainer certification program for new trainers, established professionals and shelter staff, plus shadow programs, seminars and business coaching. One visiting trainer wrote that after a five-day aggression and reactivity seminar, every one of his trainers "left absolutely blown away."
