About Red Rover Retrievers

Field trial retrievers in Ronan

Red Rover Retrievers is Luann Pleasant's retriever kennel in Ronan, specializing in field trial training and high-end retriever hunting dogs. Luann Pleasant is a PRTA member and Mountain TZ Director. The Montana kennel sits about an hour north of Missoula in the Mission Mountain Valley, where training runs approximately April through October, and winter training happens at a second kennel. The Montana training grounds cover 300 acres with 17 ponds, with access to other private properties developed for dog training, and the mild summer temperatures and plenty of local field trials suit summer training and competition. The kennel believes that the more types of terrain and water a dog experiences in training, the better prepared it will be. Red Rover also raises litters and has dogs for sale.
