About Karosel Kennels

A Frenchtown kennel since 1990

Karosel Kennels in Frenchtown is a family owned and operated small business that has served Frenchtown and Missoula since 1990, offering boarding, grooming and dog training with 24/7 on-site staff. It describes its service dog training program as award-winning and carries that approach through its other training programs.

Obedience and classes

Basic dog training focuses on fundamental commands like sit, stay and come, with consistency and positive reinforcement building the bond between owner and dog. Classes include Puppy, Beginning and Intermediate classes, a Doggie Trick Class, Advanced Obedience – Corrective, and private lessons.

Service dog and specialty training

Service dog training covers tasks such as guiding, alerting to medical conditions like diabetes, PTSD and seizures, and mobility help such as opening doors and retrieving objects, with private service dog lesson packages. Specialty training includes agility and herding, and an instinct test with a trainer is recommended before herding work. Boarding is available for dogs, cats and other small animals.
