Services

Rob's Boarding and Training offers private training sessions, day training (structured daycare with individualized training), walk-and-train, and selective in-home boarding with basic training included. Common issues addressed include leash pulling, lunging, barking and growling on leash, house manners, fear and anxiety, and resource guarding.

Approach

Owner Rob helps owners better understand their dog's behavior, improve communication, and follow a clear plan. He describes an interest in "the science and technical aspects of dog training," learned through books, courses, seminars and volunteering. Free consultations are offered.

Good to know

Rob has worked professionally with dogs since 2016, has boarded over 200 dogs in his home, and holds a B.A. in psychology and a master's in educational research. He is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and has volunteered at the Penn Vet Working Dog Center. Boarding requires booking at least two weeks in advance.
