About Spot On Dog Training Center

What they offer

Spot On Dog Training Center is a training and dog sports facility on Calderwood Lane in Lincolnville, with a heated 48 by 80 foot indoor training building, an 80 by 100 foot fenced grass agility ring and large fenced daycare fields. Its trainers are certified by independent dog training certification bodies.

Classes

The center runs classes in manners, obedience, rally, agility, SpeedWay, scent work, tracking and Happy Ratters, along with Control Unleashed classes and barn hunt workshops. For behavior problems it offers one-on-one consultations, and its Wag It DayCamp provides play and socialization.

Approach

Training is humane, fear-free and pain-free, based on positive reinforcement and current behavior science. The site states that it does not recommend shock collars or other aversive equipment, and its trainers also compete with their own dogs in agility, rally, SpeedWay and obedience.
