Beyond the Leash is a dog training business on Gowen Lane in York, led by trainers Scott and Jess Williams, that has been in operation since 2005. It works with behavior problems at all levels in dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes, and says it is often sought out for difficult dogs that did not succeed with earlier training.

Programs

A Solutions Session is an hour-long assessment in the client's home that includes a first training session and a recommendation for the right program. The doggy boot camp, its most popular service, is a board and train program with intensive training followed by classes so owners can maintain the results. Private classes and group classes cover the basics for owners who have time to train themselves.

Behavior problems

The site covers aggressive dogs, anxiety, barking, fearful dogs, jumping, leash pulling, dogs that run away and potty training.
