About Mannerly Mutts Dog Training

What they offer

Mannerly Mutts Dog Training is run by Robin Rubin, a NADOI certified dog trainer who started her training business in September 2004. The facility is in York Beach, and she works with families across southern Maine and the New Hampshire Seacoast.

Programs

Private dog and puppy lessons give one-on-one coaching for basic obedience, fearful dog support, reactive dog training, therapy dog and Canine Good Citizen skills, and loose-leash and off-leash foundations. Day training gives the dog a professional jump-start during the day, followed by family coaching. Basic board and train is an immersive program to reset a dog's habits, and a behavioral board and train is offered for more serious behavior problems.

Approach

Every program is built to jump-start the dog's progress and then coach the owner to handle the dog for life. The site says clients go at their own pace, with no high-pressure sales.
