About TrainRec Dog Training & Enrichment

In-home training and enrichment in Jupiter

TrainRec Dog Training & Enrichment is an in-home service based in Jupiter that also serves Tequesta and Palm Beach Gardens. Its Day Training blends professional training, mental enrichment and structured exercise while owners are at work, offering more structure than a dog walk and more consistency than occasional private lessons.

How it works

Each client starts with a meet and greet at home to set goals and design a plan. TrainRec then visits on a chosen schedule, most often 2-4 visits per week, and works on sit, down, stay, loose-leash walking, recall, settling and polite manners, plus custom goals. Owners need not be home; each visit ends with a report, and a monthly handoff reviews cues and progress. TrainRec also works with puppies and with mild to moderate behavior concerns such as jumping, leash frustration and reactivity foundations.

The trainer

Eric Boyer began his training journey in 2017 with his rescue dog, Winston, and left a tech career to work in dog behavior. He is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP) who trained under Terry Ryan, and a credentialed Family Dog Mediator (FDM). He uses force-free, fear-free positive reinforcement. TrainRec states it is licensed, insured and bonded.
