About East Paws Pet Services

Pet care with a training option in Fort Lauderdale

East Paws Pet Services is a dog walking and pet sitting company in Fort Lauderdale, owned by Eleanor McCoy, who says she started the business in 2006. Its team covers Fort Lauderdale, Rio Vista, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Wilton Manors, Oakland Park, Pompano Beach, Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach and Coral Ridge.

Services

Alongside dog walking, cat care and pet sitting, East Paws offers dog training sessions designed to give a dog exercise plus mental and physical stimulation, channeling pent-up energy into good behavior. Walks run early morning, midday or evening to fit an owner's schedule. New clients start with a registration meeting so owners can see how their pet responds to the team before services are booked.

What owners say

One client wrote that the pets "acted almost like we hadn't left" and praised the detailed visit notes.

What to ask

Ask what a training session covers, who leads it, how many sessions are recommended and how training is priced alongside walking packages.
