About Sit Happens Dog Training Miami LLC

Private training at home

Sit Happens Dog Training is an in-home dog training company in Miami that says it has served the area since 2011, with 10,000+ dogs trained and 70+ years of combined experience across its team. A certified trainer comes to the owner's home to find the root cause of a dog's behavior, recommend a personalized plan and give a live demonstration with their own dog, then returns for every lesson. Families get hands-on lessons and exercises to practice between sessions, and a trainer can work with up to five dogs at a time, individually or in a private group.

Programs and approach

Programs cover puppy training, obedience, socialization, behavioral training, leash training, potty training and reactivity, with problems such as separation anxiety, barking, nipping, aggression and rescue dog issues. The company describes its methodology as positive reinforcement backed by canine cognitive science. Trainers go through the company's 90-day certification course and do 100+ hours of continuing education each year. Sessions are also offered in Spanish. Team members named include Jorge Marban, Ken Wille and Kendra Roop.
