About Trusting Hands for Animals Dog Behavior Training – In your home & Customized to meet your pet’s needs

Mobile training around Millsboro

Trusting Hands for Animals is a mobile dog training service in the Millsboro area that comes to clients in safe, familiar locations. Trainer Patty Gilmore draws on many years as a Canine Behavioral Consultant and works on unwanted behaviors such as excessive barking, jumping, licking, separation anxiety and destructive behavior, along with commands like sit, come, loose leash walking and potty training for puppies.

Services

Personalized dog training starts with an initial consultation and assessment of manners and unwanted behaviors, followed by a plan of action, coaching for owners at each step and a full session summary. Puppy training covers basic obedience such as attention, sit, stay and come, plus potty training. Vet and grooming training visits use positive reinforcement, counterconditioning and desensitization to help apprehensive dogs cope with appointments. Canine and equine massage and Reiki are offered as well.

Booking

The initial consultation or first session usually runs 90 minutes and later sessions about an hour. Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination is required; call 302-747-0554 to book.
