About Ariel’s Canine Connection

What they offer

Ariel's Canine Connection is a dog training business on North Prince Frederick Boulevard. Trainer Ariel has trained dogs for more than a decade, from puppy development to specialized service dogs and behavior problems, and completed a three-month program at Starmark Academy as a dog training and behavior specialist.

Training

Manners and obedience work covers foundations such as sit, down, stay and coming when called. Behavior troubleshooting addresses jumping, mouthing, counter surfing and reactivity while keeping a strong relationship with the dog. Enrichment programs teach dogs to use their nose and solve problems, and confidence work introduces new places, sounds and surfaces.

Programs

The programs page lists obedience classes, help choosing a dog, and therapy and service dog training. The approach is balanced, relying on positive reinforcement to build behaviors.
