The Dog Company is a dog care and training business in Fruitland, in Wicomico County, run from a large indoor facility. Training starts with an evaluation, after which the team builds a plan for the dog.

Training programs

Board and train programs run Monday to Friday over several weeks: an on-leash program for dogs that need structure and consistency, and longer off-leash programs that add public outings and socialization in the final week, with weekly private sessions and follow-up sessions for the owner. Day training lets the dog come in like a daycare visit while the trainers do the repetitions, then meet with you to hand the work over, and a puppy day training program is designed for puppies under five months.

Other services

Daycare, adventures and boarding are offered alongside training. The owner and head trainer has more than a decade of professional training experience, from everyday obedience and puppy raising to reactivity and behavior problems.
