Needham's four courses

Needham's group courses each last six weeks, with one-hour classes where a dog trains beside up to four others. Needham's Puppy class, for 8-to-16-week-olds, takes on potty training and gentle socialization. Beginner, up to six months, layers "leave it" and loose-leash walking on top. Fundamentals gives dogs over six months reliable everyday cues and help with jumping. Advanced brings heel, polite greetings and recall with distractions, plus games to keep a dog's mind busy.

Private route

At store 284, newcomers begin with Private Lesson 101, then continue in Needham packages of four or six private lessons, 45 minutes each.
