About Fido Fidelis Dog Training

What they offer

Fido Fidelis Dog Training is a veteran-owned business located in Rutherford that specializes in in-home training, bringing the work to your doorstep and fitting each session to your dog and your home. It builds personalized plans around a dog's age, temperament and history, for problems such as leash pulling, reactivity, lack of focus and leash aggression, and works toward off-leash control. Board and train programs are offered too.

Approach and support

Training happens both in the home and in public settings with real distractions, and socialization is a key part of the program. Check-in packages schedule visits through the year to review progress, and the business says it holds owners as well as dogs to a high standard. It is an AKC evaluator and works with a foster-based rescue group.
