About A.H. Dog Training LLC

What they offer

A.H. Dog Training is based in Waldwick and serves all of Bergen County with in-home lessons, puppy socialization and semi-private lessons. Private in-home lessons take place at your home, a neighborhood park or wherever you are having trouble with your dog, at a time that suits you.

Approach

Training uses positive reinforcement techniques based on the science of learning theory, whether the goal is good manners at home, a Canine Good Citizen around town or a reliable hiking companion. The focus is on teaching owners how to communicate with their dogs as much as on training the dog.

The trainer

Aimee Hlushewsky has trained thousands of dogs, previously worked as a senior dog trainer and mentor at a Hackensack pet store, graduated from Animal Behavior College and is a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers.
