Petco Dog Training in Egg Harbor Township runs its classes out of store 3841 at 6801 Black Horse Pike. Each group course runs for six weeks; a dog shares its hour-long meetings with as many as four classmates and their people.

Four group levels

The ladder starts with Puppy, for dogs 8 to 16 weeks old, which covers the potty training process, socialization and first cues such as sit, down and come. Beginner (16 weeks to 6 months) adds loose-leash walking and "leave it." Fundamentals, for dogs over six months, takes on jumping and barking, and Advanced works on heel and recall with distractions.

Private work and hours
