Pawsome Pet Pal is a positive reinforcement training business in Houston that works with puppies, dogs, kittens and cats. Owner Jennifer Pallanich, CPDT-KSA, provides in-home training in Woodland Heights, Houston Heights, Greater Heights, Lazybrook, Timbergrove, Shady Acres and Independence Heights, with virtual consultations available anywhere.

The trainer

Jennifer's work with animals began in 2017 as a volunteer at a no-kill shelter in Houston. She earned the CPDT-KA and CPDT-KSA through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, holds a Fear Free Shelter certification, and is a member of and volunteer with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.

Training

Puppy training covers basic skills, manners, puppy kindergarten, house training, socialization and loose-leash walking. Dog training handles leash pulling, barking and lunging on leash, jumping, fear of strangers, nipping and car anxiety. Cat and kitten sessions cover litter box issues, carrier training and introductions. Every plan is customized and built on positive reinforcement, and a free mini-consult is the first step.
