Beyond the Dog offers private, in-home dog training in Houston, pairing one-on-one work with current research in dog behavior. Its Houston trainers travel to a client's home, workplace, a local park or even a restaurant, training where dogs actually live and misbehave rather than in a facility. Who guides the team

The Houston team is guided by Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist Dr. Kristyn Savage and Certified Dog Behavior Consultant Sean Savage. Each trainer has earned a bachelor's degree and dog training credentials and is mentored, and the company says it draws on psychology, zoology and behavioral science to design every program.
