Canine Texas Training is a locally owned board and train program in Montgomery, Texas, run from the owner's private home on two fully fenced acres just outside Magnolia. The kennel is indoor and climate controlled, security cameras run 24/7, and the owner lives on site full time. Visits are by appointment only.

Method

The team works with all breeds, from puppies to adults, starting with positive reinforcement and using safe tools to teach accountability. Training is aimed at dogs needing basic obedience.

Programs

The 35-day private board and train ($2,300) covers crate training, house manners, leash walking, recall and the place command, with an e-collar introduction. It includes a lifetime boarding discount of $30/day, an owner transfer session at pickup and four follow-up lessons. The 60-day board and train ($4,500) adds proofing in more environments and off-leash control, with an e-collar plus a prong or slip collar. Returning clients can book one- or two-week tune-ups.
