About Mad K9 Training

Mother and daughter trainers in Katy

Mad K9 Training is a Katy dog training business founded in 2023 by a mother and daughter team, based at 15133 Old Richmond Rd. The pair focus on teaching owners to build good relationships with their dogs, using clear communication, science-based behavioral theory and what they call kind, approachable and humane principles.

Services

Obedience training covers sit, stay, down, heel and more. Socialization and manners training exposes dogs to other animals, people and new environments. Group training builds engagement between owner and dog, and private one-on-one sessions give owners tools for a well-mannered companion. Mad K9 Training says it is certified to train and test dogs in American Kennel Club programs, including S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, Therapy Dog and Trick Dog. It also teaches a 5-hour PetTech CPR and First Aid course and an 8-hour Complete PetSaver course for owners.
