About Every Dog Behavior and Training (South)

Every Dog South on Stassney Lane

The South Austin location of Every Dog Behavior and Training is at 1606 W Stassney Ln, Suite 7, in Austin. Every Dog is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded by trainers from animal shelter and private training careers who wanted ethical, science-based help within reach of everyone in Austin. Its trainers use positive reinforcement and are certified or working toward nationally recognized credentials, and trainers and behavior consultants work as a team.

What runs here

Puppy classes for dogs under 6 months, manners classes up to Canine Good Citizen, agility and specialty classes run at the North and South locations and online. Classes come as rolling enrollment such as Puppy Kindergarten, multi-week series such as nosework, and single drop-in sessions. For fear, reactivity, aggression, resource guarding or separation anxiety, the team recommends starting with private training, available at the training center, in your home or virtually. Shelter dogs from Austin Animal Center and Austin Pets Alive also join group classes.

Cost and aid

Published 2025 rates include $165 for a four-week series and $165 for an hour of in-home behavior help. Anyone can request financial assistance at whatever discount level they need.
